RoadWorks Brand Ambassadors Gary and Devery Jones have a life-long history in commercial trucking. Gary Jones’ late grandfather passed on his driving passion, leading Gary to pick up the family business professionally in 1999. Both Gary and Devery Jones are active in the day-to-day operations of their company, SPB Trucking, along with several other family-owned businesses. With 11 trucks in their fleet, Devery Jones manages dispatch from the road while Gary Jones drives. Avid dog lovers, the Joneses named their company after their dogs – Sweetie, Parker, Precious and “BB” – who join them on the road.
“It’s in my bones,” said Gary Jones. “My entire life has been centered around truck driving and its culture. I couldn’t be more honored to represent a company like RoadWorks Manufacturing at truck shows and events nationwide.”
2018 is the first year the Joneses competed in a truck show with their project truck, a 1995 Peterbilt 379 named “Excessive Behavior.” Naturally being overachievers, the couple chose to show “Excessive Behavior” for the first time at North America’s largest trucking show, the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, where they won the award for “Best Pictured Truck.”
